Each piece of Feast and Fern jewelry is handmade with love and care.
I start with a slab of tan spec clay that is rolled out, hand cut and then slowly dried. Each piece is then cleaned and smoothed by hand before being bisque fired in a kiln. Once they have been bisque fired, I then sand them again and hand paint each piece with a matte white glaze and then they get put back into the kiln for a second high fire. Pieces with 22k gold luster are then hand painted and put back into the kiln for a third and final fire. Each piece is hand assembled into jewelry, then packaged, all in my home studio. Because each piece is handcrafted, no two pieces are alike.
These stud earrings are nickel free and have gold plated stud backings. Each piece has been handpainted with a 22k gold luster.
